In the midst of the state of panic that Real Madrid is experiencing with knee injuries, Rodyrgo spread concern by leaving the field in added time complaining about his right knee.

Shortly after Lucas scored 0-1, the Brazilian striker fell asleep and put his hand on his right knee. The Real Madrid doctors came in urgently and Rodrygo left the field helped by the white doctors. He did so supporting, but with clear gestures of pain.

However, after the match Ancelotti, who spoke to his player just as he was leaving in pain and without resting his foot, downplayed the initial concern, dropping that it was an exclusively muscular problem: “He is a little tired, the effort has been enormous”.

However, Rodrygo remains pending the examinations carried out on him that will determine the exact extent of an injury that joins a team in which physical problems do not stop.

So far this season he has suffered three serious knee injuries (Alaba, Militao and Courtois), he has one player who has not yet made his debut (Guler), another two who have suffered long-term injuries (Vinicius, twice, and Camavinga) plus the two injured starting full-backs (Carvajal and Mendy). In total, Ancelotti has nine players injured after Rodrygo's problem.

The Brazilian is on fire

Rodrygo will insist that he is being used outside of his natural position. The Brazilian, scorer of 10 goals in all competitions this season, believes that he is not a striker. To get the best out of Rodrygo, according to him, you are supposed to play him as number 10 in a 4-2-3-1 system: "In this one, with the 4-2-3-1 and behind Karim [ Benzema], is the position I like the most and everyone knows it. I always talk about it with the coach," he told in February of this year.
