Erling Haaland is considered the best striker in the world. In his first season with Manchester City, he broke the record for the player who scored the most goals in his first season in the Premier League, he also won the Golden Boot and is the favorite to win the Ballon d'Or.

Haaland started the season with a flop by losing the Community Shield final against Arsenal. In that game he couldn't score a goal and had a bad performance. Now in the first game of the Premier League he scored twice against Burnley but had a problem with manager Pep Guardiola.

In his first year with Manchester City, he scored 52 goals in all competitions and now he will look to surpass that number. Haaland will attempt to break Cristiano Ronaldo's record for most goals scored in a Champions League season with 17 goals. Last year Erling scored 12 goals in this competition.

In the Champions League, he will seek to break other impressive records: Becoming the first soccer player to score six goals in a game (he scored 5 against RB Leipzig in the round of 16 in 2023) and equaling the record of three hat-tricks in a season set by Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2015-2016 campaign (Haaland made 1 in 2022-2023).

In this league he will seek to become the first soccer player to score six goals in one match. Alan Shearer scored five goals in one game. But he will also seek to be the second soccer player to score more than 50 goals in two seasons, this has only been done by Lionel Messi.
