Pep Guardiola is a few days away from facing the Champions League final against Inter Milan. This will be the most important game in history for Manchester City, the main objective of the club is to be champions for the first time in Europe.

Manchester City lost their last Premier League game of the season against Brighton by a score of 1-0. Coach Pep Guardiola decided to rest his best players. Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva watched the game from the substitute bench.

Guardiola came out worried in this game. The performance of his team was not good and the substitutes had a terrible performance, they were surpassed by their rival and this experiment that Pep carried out for the FA Cup and Champions League final was a true failure.

Pep's biggest concern in this game was that his striker Julián Álvarez missed goal opportunities and that Phil Foden also had several errors. Guardiola knows that he has to improve his team if he wants to win the FA Cup and the Champions League.

The bad news for Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland did not play this game but in the last three games he has not been able to score a goal and the Norwegian is already stopped by the defenders. This is Pep Guardiola's biggest concern for these two great finals that they are going to face.
