The transfer market is nearing its end, and as of now, Joao Felix remains a player of Atletico de Madrid. The 23-year-old forward returned after his loan at Chelsea, where he didn't have the best performance. However, he has currently entered a state of discontent, expressing his desire to leave the club that propelled him to the European elite in 2019 when he was acquired for nearly €130 million.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Joao Felix's goal is to join Barcelona. Nevertheless, Mundo Deportivo reports that his move to Catalonia would only be possible if a forward departs from the team, which seems complicated but not impossible at this moment. This condition would be in place for Barcelona to gather the necessary funds.

On the other hand, Portuguese newspaper A Bola has indicated that an important English club is also interested in signing Joao Felix. If this were to happen, the player would have a second chance to establish himself in European soccer after a tough period.

Which team is it?

A Bola and Transfermarkt suggest that Liverpool is interested in bringing Joao Felix to Anfield. However, just like the Barcelona situation, his potential transfer also depends on an outgoing player. In this case, the departure in question would be Mohamed Salah, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in recent days. Despite Romano's claims that neither of the two parties is interested in a switch, speculation about Salah's exit continues to circulate in England. As of now, nothing is confirmed.
