There are only 45 days left for the Qatar World Cup and FIFA revealed the latest ranking with which the teams will arrive to play the World Cup from November 20. Last September the last FIFA date was played and, after the friendlies won by 3-0 against Honduras and Jamaica, the Argentine National Team was ranked No. 3.

Although the ranking of FIFA teams doesn't really mean much, it is at least a graphic representation where you can see which are the elections that are stronger and therefore more likely to win the world cup.

The only teams that were above Lionel Scaloni's team are Brazil, the leader, and Belgium. The group led by Tite leads with 1841.3, the Belgians add 1816.71 and Argentina appears behind with 1773.88. The first ten places in the ranking are completed by France, England, Italy (not classified), Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark.

On the other hand, Argentina's rivals in the group stage were as follows: 13th place for the Mexican team commanded by Gerardo Martino, 26th for Poland and 51st for Saudi Arabia, the rival of the debut. Although sometimes these numbers are not so accurate and generate controversy, they are a parameter to analyze the current situation of the national teams.

The time Argentina led the ranking

It happened only once, in October 2007 when the team was managed by Alfio 'Coco' Basile. That team had just finished runner-up in the Copa América that year in Venezuela, losing the final against Brazil 3-0. They played very well and had a great team with Riquelme, Messi, Aimar, Crespo, Cambiasso, Ayala, Mascherano and plus.
