Manchester United does not live its best moments both in sports and administratively. The Old Trafford team has not had its best years and has shown itself on the pitch. At the moment, Erik ten Hag faces one of the worst league starts since before the arrival of Sir Alex Ferguson. For this reason, things do not seem to be on the right track.

United spent approximately $200 million this season on signings such as Rasmus Hojlund, Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Altay Bayindir. Other names that joined the team on loan were Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilón. The arrival of the Spaniard Reguilon was something unexpected after the sudden injury of Luke Shaw. United not only faces poor results but injuries.

Given this, the Red Devils team has had to adapt to different circumstances. Similarly, the situation with Antony left him out of the team for about a month after the Brazilian asked permission to settle his personal affairs as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho remains separated from the first team and training on his own.

With that said, United's dressing room doesn't seem to be at its best. Thousands of fans have protested against The Glazers, the current owners of United and also owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After years of demonstrations, it seems that the American family has decided to sell the team to the highest bidder, in this case, a buyer who comes from the distant lands of Qatar.

Who would be the new owner of United?

According to media such as Express, Sheikh Hassim, would have told The Glazers that they want 100% of the club, otherwise, they would not be interested in acquiring the club. At the moment, everything seems to indicate that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still in the race. However, some media in England announce that a takeover is almost imminent either on Hassim's or Ratcliffe's side. At the moment, nothing has been confirmed.
