Not only Americanism, but all of Mexico mourns the departure of one of the greatest exponents of Mexican comedy Xavier López 'Chabelo' who at 88 ceased to exist and will now receive a tribute from the Mexican National Team with the approval by Emilio Azcárraga at the Azteca Stadium.
The mythical colossus of “Santa Ursula”, who in a few months could change his name because America decided to invest in the stock market and Azcárraga seeks investors in order to generate sponsorships, will be the scene that says goodbye to the popular comedian that was part of the childhood of millions of Mexicans throughout time.
Chabelo was closely linked to Club América, since his love for the team made it evident on more than one occasion, this is valued by Emilio Azcárraga, owner of the Azteca Stadium, who in agreement with the Mexican federation will hold a posthumous event prior to the duel between Mexico and Jamaica.
After the sensitive loss of Xavier López 'Chabelo', the Mexican National Team will pay a posthumous tribute before the match against Jamaica. Likewise, America will appear with a posthumous tie in their friendly duel that is scheduled for FIFA.
According to the journalist Juan Carlos Zúñiga, in June América will form part of a new company that will enter the stock market, from there the investor who decides to put more money for the remodeling of the stadium that will be part of the 2026 World Cup could put the new name to the Azteca Stadium.
