Sergio Ramos rejected the Besiktas club, the defender did not reach an agreement to sign with this team and the former Real Madrid player remains a free agent after expiring his contract with Paris Saint Germain this summer.

Besiktas vice president Emre Kocadag confirmed that the club did not reach an agreement for Sergio Ramos because the footballer asks to earn too much money. Now the former Real Madrid player has until September 15 to sign with a team on the transfer window.

"Ramos asks for 5 million euros, but the truth is not like that. He has asked for more than double this figure. Right now if Ramos goes to Saudi Arabia, he would charge between 23-25 million euros. To sign him I have sounded out all the possibilities, but it seems impossible. The salary and the figure requested by his representative are 15 million euros. We are no longer at the negotiating table," Kocadag said at a press conference.

AS newspaper reported that Galatasaray is close to signing Sergio Ramos. This club offers him a two-year contract where he can earn more than 12 million euros.
