Sergio Ramos is without a doubt one of the legends who managed to conquer everything with Real Madrid in recent years. A captain with all the letters and who knew how to lift the team at the most critical moments. However, his departure from the club did not take place accordingly and today he is far from Real Madrid.

The truth is that currently the future of the Spanish defender is uncertain. His contract with Paris Saint Germain expires at the end of the season and despite being the undisputed starter for Christophe Galtier, the club's managers would not be willing to renew this link since for them, he failed to meet expectations.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi prefers to get rid of Ramos and save the 12 million euros that he earns per season. In this way, the Spanish will be free of action at 37 years of age. Despite his age, the player does not plan to hang up his boots and seeks to continue expanding his career in Europe.

Florentino Pérez was the one who took advantage of the situation to offer him a return to Real Madrid. According to El Nacional, he would have offered him a job to be part of the board of directors, or to join the club's foundation, in addition to being an ambassador. However, right now the plan to return to the Santiago Bernabéu is not going through Ramos' head.

What will become of the future of Ramos?

As we mentioned before, his desire is to continue extending his career, at least a couple more years. There are several suitors, such as Cristiano Ronaldo's own Al-Nassr, however, Ramos' desire is currently to extend his relationship with PSG, something that will be difficult, since Al-Khelaïfi has no intention of having Ramos for the next season.
