In recent weeks it had been rumored that Sergio Ramos would be interested in joining Major League Soccer in the United States, more specifically, Inter Miami, with his friend Lionel Messi. Now, a last minute information could indicate the opposite...

The news that Sergio Ramos wants to return to Sevilla is already a reality. The former Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain is free of action after not renewing his contract with the Parisians. The historic defender intends to return to the Sevillian team to give a definitive closure to his career, however, it won't be so simple as that.

A few weeks ago, the president of the Sevillian team declared that the Spanish defender was not an option at the time, due to the millions he earns. However, Sergio Ramos would be willing to lower his salary and earn some more through bonuses, if he achieves the club's goals.

Why wouldn't Ramos go to Miami with Messi?

Sergio Ramos is a born competitor, and the Spaniard does not want to withdraw from European competitions yet. Sevilla managed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, after winning the UEFA Europa League against AS Roma. Before thinking about going to the United States, Sergio Ramos wants to continue, at least one season, in Europe.
