Riyad Mahrez renewed with Manchester City until 2025, Guardiola wants to keep him until the end of his career

Renewal confirmed by Manchester City that announced this July that Riyad Mahrez has signed a new two-year contract extension... sealing a deal that will see the 31-year-old remain at the 'skyblue' club until June 2025.

Mahrez, who arrived in 2018 from Leicester City, helped Pep Guardiola's side win three Premier League titles, three League Cups and an FA Cup, as well as reaching a Champions League final which the English club lost to Chelsea.

Mahrez, 31, who joined Manchester City in 2018, has made 189 appearances registering 63 goals and 45 assists. In this period, the winger has won with the 'Citizens' three Premier League, three League Cups and an FA Cup and played in a Champions League final.

"I would also like to thank Pep (Guardiola), Txiki (Begiristain) and all the coaching staff, for how they have helped me develop as a player and for encouraging me to keep improving. Now I just want to carry on and continue playing my role so that the team can achieve success this coming season and the next," the player concluded.
