Real Madrid has terrible news as this player is once again injured, see who
Arda Güller hasn’t been able to make his official debut with Real Madrid since he was drafted.
Real Madrid looks like a hospital due to the many injured players they had on the reserve list, now, Arda Güller, Turkish midfielder, has a new injury that will prevent him to see any action against UD Las Palmas in tomorrow’s match in order to play the seventh week of La Liga’s tournament.
Arda Güller was freshly out from a successful meniscus surgery that prevented him to see any action on field, however, his recovery was very quick and was able to return with the team in last week’s practice alongside Vinicius Jr. Güller was set to be back for the seventh week, but today early in the morning, right about the end of the training session, the midfielder suffered an injury on the left rectus femoris muscle.
“After the tests carried out on our player Arda Güler, by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the left rectus femoris muscle. Evolution pending”, said Real Madrid in a press release published on their social media accounts.
Arda Güller, of only 18 years old, is set to miss from three weeks to up to a month to have a healthy recovery. It was said that Carlo Ancelotti, Madrid’s manager, didn’t want to put Arda at any risk so he could make his official debut with the Merengues after he was bought in the summer window market.
Which games will he miss?
Arda Güller was brought from the Turkish club, Fenerbahçe, for a 20 million euro (about 21,7 mdlls) transaction plus another eight million on bonus (8,6 mdlls). He was set to be the signing of the summer but Güller hasn’t been able to make his official debut due to the injuries he had throughout his arrival to Real Madrid.
Real Madrid had just lost its undefeated streak last Saturday in the Classic Metropolitan Derby against Atletico Madrid where they lost 3-1. The Merengues want to recover from this bad day but the truth is they had a pretty tight schedule ahead.
UD Las Palmas is perhaps his easiest game, it will be played tomorrow September 27th; their next game will be against Girona, who is currently in the second place of the standings; and for their second appointment of the UEFA Champions League, they will face the current champion of the A Series, Napoli, on October the 4th.
