Looks like Ancelotti is leaving Real Madrid, but they already have his replacement.

Marcelo Gallardo closed his successful cycle at River Plate and is still unaware of his next destination. From Europe there has been talk of the interest of clubs like Ajax, Sevilla or Fenerbahce, however, in the last few hours it was revealed that Real Madrid would also go after the 'Muñeco', since Carlo Ancelotti, current coach of the 'King of Europe', will come out at the end of this season.

Diario 'Olé' reported that several Spanish media confirm that Gallardo is among those eligible to replace Ancelotti at Real Madrid. The Italian manager starts as the number one candidate to reach the Brazilian National Team and the 'meringues' are already looking for his replacement. The 'Doll' along with Zinedine Zidane and Julian Nagelsmann would be the main names to arrive at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Marcelo Gallardo earned six million dollars per season and his salary would increase significantly if his arrival at Real Madrid is confirmed. If what Ancelotti perceives is taken into account, the most successful manager in the history of River Plate would go on to add 11 million euros per season in the maximum winner of the Champions League.

When will the future of Marcelo Gallardo be known?

The Argentine coach, apparently, is in no hurry to confirm his next destination. Although he has been tempted with offers in Europe and Mexico, he is taking the time to consider where he will continue his coaching career. For now, the 'Doll' was at the tribute to the Argentine team at the Monumental stadium and delivered a River Plate shirt to Lionel Messi.
