After the negotiations for Gianluca Scamacca and Hugo Ekitike are proving more complicated than they seemed, the French club is looking for alternatives that can serve to supply goals in the possible absences of Leo Messi, Neymar and Mbappé in the 2022-23 season.

The Parisian club is very interested in having a competitive team in all lines of the pitch, and in view of the possible departure of Mauro Icardi, Luis Campos, PSG's new sporting director, is already working to make up for the absence of the Argentine striker.

Gianluca Scamacca was the first striker on this list, but Sassuolo is asking for more money than PSG is willing to pay, about €50 million. In the last few hours, interest has emerged from West Ham, who would indeed be willing to reach that figure and get the striker who scored 16 goals for the Italian side last season.

The second name that appeared was that of Hugo Ekitike, the young striker of Stade de Reims who is emerging in Ligue 1. PSG once made an offer of 25 million for the player, but it turned out to be insufficient and PSG are not contemplating offering more money for the French player.

PSG new option for their attacking front

The name of Gonçalo Ramos appears on the options for PSG, who after the favorable reports, would be an alternative for PSG in case the club fails to materialize the first two options. He has been in Benfica's first team for three seasons, scoring 14 goals in 59 games played. He stands out for his physical ability and has a contract until 2026.
