Sir Alex Ferguson might have been dubbed the ‘seer’ for ability to confidently approved the iconic number 7 shirt for relatively known Cristiano Ronaldo in 2013 after his transfer from boyhood club, Sporting CP. No one could blame Sir Alex for allowing Cristiano's departure to Real Madrid in 2009. His move to the spanish club was also fruitful as many see it as a match made in heaven. The Portuguese superstar shone like diamonds despite as tricks fade away, goals, assists and silverwares follow Cristiano which inturn increase his popularity and fan base among peers and other global athletes. 

His move to Turin biggest club, Juventus helped boost the revenue of the Italian Serie A league and his stay was succesful before embarking on another journey to the Theatre of Dreams, a surprise to many soccer fans. It was also crystal clear that Sporting CP sold him because of money, however his second stint at Manchester United was tainted with interview Piers Morgan where he his comment on Manager Erik Ten Hag was displeasing to the club. Had it been Cristiano has kept mute on Manchester united question or shun the interview he will still be a Manchester United player.
