Neymar Jr will return to Barcelona, but he will do so to go through the Audiencia of Barcelona for a hearing as a defendant for alleged corruption between private individuals and fraud for the contract signed with Barcelona when his signing took place, reports El País.

The Brazilian will be in the city of Barcelona a month before the World Cup in Qatar along with his parents, a former executive of Santos, the club where he previously played for Barcelona, and two former presidents of the Blaugrana club, Sandro Rosell and Josep María Bartomeu.

This trial will be held to resolve the complaint filed by DIS, a company that owned 40% of the player's federative rights when he played for Santos. DIS considers that it was deceived and, according to El País, claims a compensation of more than 150 million euros.

The Prosecutor's Office, according to this newspaper, maintains a similar version to that of the company, assuring that the player and his father signed two simulated contracts with Barcelona, ignoring that the player's rights belonged to both the club and the company.

They want jail time for Neymar and his parents

The prosecution requests two years in prison for Neymar in addition to the payment of the fine of 10 million euros. For his father he is asking for two years in prison and one for his mother. In the case of the former presidents, DIS is asking for Josep María Bartomeu to be sent to prison, although not the Prosecutor's Office. In the case of Sandro Rosell, the Prosecutor's Office is asking for five years in prison for these alleged acts.
