According to reports, superstar Neymar is in no rush to leave PSG despite reports in the contrary and is focused on his preparations for the World Cup in Qatar this year. The 30-year-old has attracted interest from a host of clubs, leading to claims that he could move away from the French capital, with Chelsea said to be among those eyeing him.

PSG would cash in on the attacker if they receive a suitable offer, according to META. However, it has now been reported that the player does not want to leave and wishes to stay at the club.

The Brazilian was in good form for PSG last season as he scored 13 league goals. Neymar wants to stay because of the upcoming World Cup and believes PSG is the best place to prepare as he hopes to help Brazil win a sixth tournament. Brazil are aiming to claim their first World Cup since winning 20 years ago in Korea-Japan.

New PSG coach has him in his sights

New PSG coach Christophe Galtier recently said his aim is to get the best out of the Brazilian attacker. 'Neymar is a world-class player, what coach wouldn't want him in his squad. We have to find a balance in the team,' he said.

“I have a very clear idea of what I want from him. I haven't met him yet, but I want him to stay with us.”
