Neymar's career has changed in a big way after he underwent surgery to treat a new ankle injury. The former Barça closed his season in the infirmary after staying in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar and failing to help PSG go far in the Champions League.

The Brazilian player, who extended his contract with the Parisian entity until 2027, is not willing to lower his financial claims, despite not looking badly at his departure from Paris, something that rules him out for almost any European football project. This is the big reason why he hasn't left PSG yet.

One of those has been that of FC Barcelona, where Xavi Hernández himself, accompanied by his coaching staff, rejected a possible return of Neymar to Barcelona. This is how 'Mundo Deportivo' points it out this Monday, pointing out that the forward was once again offered to Barça by his agents, but the refusal by the culé team remained, as had already happened during the month of June.

There's no place to spend that money

The information indicates that from the club they are clear that Neymar's arrival is economically unfeasible, taking into account that he could not arrive free under any circumstances. Likewise, the coaching staff also maintain their position that at the locker room level the Brazilian player would detract from the good spirits that exist right now and could cause problems for Xavi.
