Manchester United has been in trouble for the last several months. Erik Ten Hag’s team suffered an important loss against Brighton Hoves 3-1 and is now on the 13th position of the Premier League’s standings.
Brighton Hoves were the only team that played today at Old Trafford, while Manchester United were trying to figure out their own game as they only managed to score one goal at the 73’ made by Hanibal Mejbri.
Manchester United seemed to repeat all their mistakes in today’s match when they played versus Arsenal and Tottenham in previous weeks. Erik Ten Hag looked upset with the performance of his team, but the ones that seemed even more angry were The Deil’s fans, when at the end of the game, they all started chanting “VIVA RONALDO” as you can see on the video below.
Do Manchester United's fans dream once again with the return of Cristiano Ronaldo to the club? Or were they only trying to piss off Erik Ten Hag's bad performance on trying to command the English team?
Within just 20 minutes from the beginning of the match, Brighton Hove’s squad managed to score the first goal of the match with a great shot made by Dany Welbeck, the second goal was scored by Pascal Gross in the 53’ minute and the third and final goal was made by Joao Pedro on the 71’.
Manchester United couldn’t stop the visitors' attack, but after three goals made and a series of substitutes made by Brighton, The Devil’s found their one and only score of the match.
Manchester United will be facing Bayern Münich on the first stage of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday the 20th, they will return to the Premier League to play against Burnley, and will host Crystal Palace for the third round of the EFL Cup.
