With Cristiano Ronaldo rumored to transfer out from Manchester United, the Glazers are now tasked with finding a replacement for the Portuguese superstar. While many players could potentially fill Ronaldo's shoes, the board has made it clear that they have their sights set on a few specific targets. From young up-and-comers to experienced veterans, the board has a wide range of possibilities.

Although Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the best players in history, has won five Ballon d'Or awards, won four European Golden Shoes, and won five UEFA Champions League, he is not a regular under Erik ten Hag. The new Manchester United manager considers the Red Devils need new blood and not an experienced man leading the attacking side.

Although last summer Cristiano Ronaldo tried to leave the team, without much success, it seems that this time his goal could be fulfilled. With the World Cup so close to being played, Manchester United's board would have already thought of names that could replace the Portuguese.

The names to replace him

One of the most prominent names on the English media list is Harry Kane. The Spurs striker has proven himself many times in both the Premier League and England. Another name is the Dutchman Cody Gakpo who plays for PSV and has been linked to a United move since last summer. The last name has come out in recent weeks: Mexican winger Hirving Lozano, from Napoli. According to one of his former agents, he could move to Old Trafford very soon.
