Lionel Messi spoke to the media for the first time since he signed at Inter Miami. After a month in the Florida franchise, the best player in the world gave a press conference and touched on various topics days before the Leagues Cup final. One of them was his adaptation to the United States and he compared it to the negative experience that he had in France when he signed for PSG.

“We still don't have the house where we are going to stay definitively, but it was very easy. The people made everything very easy, both at the club and the fans and the city in which we are, which is spectacular. It makes you live calmly and with great happiness ”, began the story about his acclimatization to Miami in this first month and a half.

Later, he completed: “It was much easier than we thought. We had had an experience of having changed from Barcelona to Paris, and it had been complicated. This was totally different." In this way, the '10' finished confirming what everyone could perceive from his stage at PSG: he did not enjoy it and suffered the constant mistreatment that he had to endure, even from his own fans. Finally, he stated in this regard: "My departure to Paris was not something I wanted, but I had to leave Barcelona."

Messi ratified that he does not think about the Ballon d'Or

The top winner of the award given by France Football magazine was asked about the possibility of getting his eighth trophy, to which he replied: “It's a very nice award, but I never gave it any importance. The most important thing was the collective prizes at the group level. The World Cup was the most important and beautiful award in my life. If it arrives (the Ballon d'Or), fine, otherwise nothing happens”.
