Lionel Messi's Inter Miami is only a few hours away from facing Nashville SC, in what will be the final of the 2023/2024 Leagues Cup. The Argentine is close to making history, because now he could become the player with the most titles won in soccer history. Now, the Argentine has sent a message prior to the match.

“I liked the idea of coming to play in MLS, of helping Inter Miami grow. I know what Inter's objectives are, to continue growing in the same way they have been doing since it started. Being part of that and being able to continue competing and helping the club win titles, now we are very close, we are in a final. It would be spectacular to be able to win our first title.”

Inter Miami got into the Final thanks to the 1-4 win over the Philadelphia Union. Those led by Gerardo Martino entered this round led by Lionel Messi. Instead, Nashville SC qualified for the final, eliminating Monterrey in the Semifinal round with a score of 0-2.

Double prize:

Whatever happens today, both teams already have a guaranteed prize, as they became the first teams to get their pass to the next edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup through the Leagues Cup. It should be remembered that said tournament gives three passes to the other tournament, so it only remains to know who will go as the champion and who as the runner-up, which will affect which stage of the tournament they will access directly.
