Lionel Messi's Inter Miami kicks three star players out, look who they are
Inter Miami wants to reinforce the squad for next season.
Inter Miami ended its season a couple of weeks ago, as Lionel Messi's team failed to qualify for the Major League Soccer playoffs and therefore, they will not have an official match for four months. Although the team showed clear improvement with the arrival of Lionel Messi, something happened that made qualification impossible.
Lionel Messi's injury was the factor that complicated the classification, Messi could not play 4 consecutive games with Inter Miami, the same four that Gerardo Tata Martino's team failed to win. Given this, Inter Miami's dependence on Lionel Messi was demonstrated, since without him they cannot compete.
This is precisely what Inter Miami plans to do, strengthen the team so as not to depend on Lionel Messi. Given this, now Inter Miami has to make room, since there is no room for more signings, without first releasing the squad. For this reason, Victor Ulloa, Josef Martínez and Jake LaCava have been relegated from the squad.
"Thank you. Victor Ulloa, Josef Martínez and Jake LaCava will not return to the club next season, we wish them all the best!”, this is how Inter Miami said goodbye to both players on their official Twitter account. Their future is not yet known, but it is expected that they will find a team relatively quickly, since they are two great talents.
