According to the Spanish press, Gavi, the FC Barcelona midfielder has agreed to renew his contract with the Catalan club who have managed to tempt him to agree to extend his stay with the La Liga side. His current contract at the Camp Nou expires in mid-2023, but it seems that the management of his permanence at the club is almost sealed with his representative Ivan de la Peña.

This way Barcelona will be left without the 60 million euros that Liverpool was ready to pay to the club that still does not get out of its economic problems. However, the 17 year old player is exciting Xavi Hernandez who sees in him an impressive potential that could lead the team to be dominant again in La Liga.
