Kepa Arrizabalaga had several offers before going to Real Madrid, look who was interested in him

The Spaniard goalkeeper signed with Real Madrid for one year in loan condition, the main reason that Kepa went to the club, it was because Thibaut Courtois is injured and he are going to lose almost the complete season, so they need a replacement.

This wasn't be the first try that have ‘Los Blancos’ to signed Kepa, in 2018 they was looking for him, but the coach at that moment Zinadine Zidane has made an stop to the transfer. Now, five years later the club called him and he accept the offer.

The goalkeeper was talking in a press conference during the concentration of the Spain National team, for him was easy to decided where he are going to play this season, “When Real Madrid calls you, you don't have to think much”, those was the words of the 28 years old.

Which other teams was interested in Kepa?

First of all, Kepa played the last season in Chelsea and their new coach, Mauricio Pochettino was talking with him, “Pochettino wanted me to stay. He told me that I was going to play, that he trusted me, but I want a change”, said Kepa at the press conference.
