The sports world is mourning the loss of a young driver of just 18 years of age who confirmed his death in a tragic car accident while competing on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in regards to the European Regional Formula competition. More than the motor discipline, the fact shocked all those who are linked to any sporting activity.

The young Dilano van't Hoff was just 18 years old, he was born in the Netherlands and started running at the age of 11. He considered himself a fan of any type of vehicle, from the ones he used in his early days linked to karting to the most luxurious Formula 1 cars and his career was more than promising.

On this weekend's date held in the Belgian city of Liège, there was little due to rain and poor visibility was the cause of the brutal accident that ended the life of Dilano van't Hoff. A fierce chain crash that took place on a straight, the fastest point on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.

The other antecedent on the same track

The death of Dilano van't Hoff was very similar to the last fatal antecedent on this circuit in Belgium. The death of the young Dutchman was reminiscent of that 2019 accident that cost the life of French Anthoine Hubert, on this same circuit, also being rammed by an opponent when being perpendicular to the track.
