Julián Álvarez is experiencing his first season at Manchester City, the Argentine's learning process has been hard, coach Pep Guardiola gives him few minutes in games and the striker watches many games from the substitute bench.

Julián did not play in Manchester City's last game, coach Pep Guardiola put him in training but did not put him in to play against Newcastle, many fans are upset because Julián's performance is optimal and he should have more participation in the team .

Álvarez has 11 goals this season and two assists, his numbers are good because in a short time he shows that he is a striker with great performance. Coach Pep Guardiola prefers Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne and that is why Julián plays short time.

In an interview for the official Manchester City media, Álvarez spoke about Pep Guardiola's work as coach and his response was quite harsh, it is that the Spaniard gives Julián a few minutes and they do not have a great relationship.

This is how Julián Álvarez describes Pep Guardiola

“We all know what he did, he is one of the best coaches in the world. He tried to listen and learn many things. He had the best players and he won so many things… You can always grow as a player and as a person", said Julián Álvarez.
