Lionel Messi has had a fantastic career, winning all kinds of trophies mainly with FC Barcelona, where he is a legend. Lionel Messi, however, completed his career in 2022, when he won the World Cup in Qatar and fulfilled his dream, therefore, this World Cup is extremely special for Messi and for Argentina. Now, Messi surprised with his new dynamic to support those in need.

These were Lionel Messi's words: “Today, my friends at @acmomento will announce at @sothebys the auction of the six jerseys I wore during the World Cup in Qatar, including my final jersey. You can bid on the Sotheby's website from November 30 to December 14. A part of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the UNICAS Project, led by the Sant Joan de Déu Children's Hospital (SJD) in Barcelona to cover the needs of children suffering from rare diseases,” he said on his Instagram account. It is estimated that the auction will reach around nine million euros.

Messi's words after winning the World Cup:

"I tell you that it is very difficult to explain what it feels like at that moment, but that's a bit of it: That's it, it's over, it was given to me, I achieved everything with the National Team, I achieved everything in my career, at Barcelona, individually, close my career in a unique way"
