Ignacio Ambriz once again moved the hornet's nest of the Mexican team, because he exposed his criteria about what happened with the election of the new coach of the Mexican team and what was missing so that Mexican talent can be consolidated and in this case, him as Tri's coach.

In a dialogue with ESPN Mexico, the Toluca coach pointed out that perhaps he failed to present the coach's passport in Spain, because Ambriz has experience in the old continent when he directed soccer in the first B of that country. The coach stated that perhaps he also failed to put that on his resume, so that his portfolio weighs.

But also, in the dialogue, the strategist stated that he believes that Diego Cocca's style does not go with the Mexican team. For the coach, the problem occurs because the strategist on duty does not know the culture of the Mexican player and therefore had trouble reflecting on the level and what he wanted to do in the match against Jamaica.

For the Mexican strategist, the big problem lies in the lack of decision of the board, in not risking it for a national coach, who does know what happens in the team's internship and, above all, knows how to reach the national player, in this moment, where the selection passes a crisis.

Why was Ignacio Ambriz not elected?

According to a report by ESPN's Roberto Gómez Junco, coach Diego Cocca was handed over by the new power that the FMF has. Alejandro Irarragorri would have been the one who channeled the arrival of the strategist who is now being questioned about his results.
