Manchester United is in the middle of an important decision: whether to renew David de Gea or not. The Spanish goalkeeper has been at Old Trafford for eleven years, but apparently, the board could decide to discard a new deal with the goalie, meaning he could go to any other club the next summer.

De Gea's career has had its ups and downs. Until a few years ago he was a key player not only in Manchester United but in the Spanish team. However, he has had a low level of performance, making him excluded from the national team (could he miss the World Cup?). But so far the new Red Devils coach trusts him.

Finally, Erik ten Hag has found Maguire's replacement

But the possibility of him leaving has generated uncertainty among many clubs. If David de Gea were to leave Manchester United, the Glazers would have to go to the market to look for an option that has enough experience to withstand being the starting goalkeeper of the Old Trafford team.

One of the names: Pickford

For his position, the English press has already given names of who could replace de Gea. One of them is the English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who plays for Frank Lampard's Everton. Pickford is also known for being England's starting goalkeeper. For now, he is injured but he will probably be ready for the next Premier League week.
