One of the most anticipated transfers of the summer has come through, as Robert Lewandowski's arrival at Barcelona has been confirmed, after weeks of uncertainty and rumors regarding his signing.

The Pole expressed his desire to leave Bayern Munich, despite being the highest paid player in the Bundesliga, where he receives 12 million euros net per year.

In order his achieve his wish of playing for Barcelona, the striker sacrificed three million euros a year in salary, as his wages in Barcelona will amount to approximately nine million euros per year.

If Lewandowski completes his contract with the FC Barcelona until 2026, he would bring in 36 million euros for his services to the Spanish club.
