PSG coach spoke about the integration of Kylian Mbappé.

Christophe Galtier is clear about PSG's objectives for this season. The technical director has a new signing in his sights to reinforce the forward line, as he is not happy with Mauro Icardi and his performance in the preseason. In addition, he mentioned that there will be no problem with integrating Mbappé, who has been absent in recent games due to an injury issue that took him out of the picture.

"Yes, we want a new striker. The club is working very hard. I am in direct contact with Luis Campos about this. We must not make any mistakes. Will this player arrive? We don't have any guarantees on that. I know that the club will not sign for the sake of signing and pile up players. I can't confirm that a striker will arrive, but the club is working hard for it," he said at a press conference.

Neymar is the top paid player while injured, what he earned while off the pitch

Galtier stated that they are looking forward to Kylian Mbappé's return to training. The Frenchman will rejoin his teammates and for the coach there is no problem with adapting to a scheme that seems to be stable and have a fixed eye on the season's objectives.

"There is no difficulty in integrating him. It is a great privilege to have him. He didn't get much playing time during the preseason. He doesn't have, yet, a lot of minutes in his legs, but he is fit. He came back very dynamic. I also worked a lot on his performances, I looked at what he did last season," the manager mentioned.

Messi and Neymar's chemistry could be at risk

This weekend, Galtier will have his first full experience at the Parc des Princes when they play with their full attacking trident again. Messi and Neymar look renewed in this new season and show an ideal chemistry. Mbappé's return could have a negative impact on the pitch, as the Frenchman looks to be the leader of the team.
