The argentine national team is the seventh most expensive squad in the World Cup and will face a humble Honduras. Lionel Scaloni's squad is prepared to test their players and although the match ahead might not be too appealing, it is a perfect opportunity for some players to prove themselves to the coach.

The argentine squad is filled with many players that belong to Europe's top squads and have been called upon the national team to make the most of their effort. These players not only play in Europe, but are amongst the best players in the world on their positions.

Amongst the stars in the Argentine squad are players like City's Julian Álvarez, Angel Di María or Ángel Correa. Some of these big names helped the team reach and win the final at Copa América. Their squad even surpassed Brazil and Italy, two of the best squads in the world, and they did it with class.

Prior to the duel with Honduras, Argentina has prepared their team and their reality isn't perfect. Rodrigo De Paul, player at Atlético Madrid and the second most expensive player in the squad, had some thoughts about being in the national team. He stated that sometimes the pressure is too much to handle and explicitly said he ‘doesn’t enjoy the World Cups.'

De Paul's words about Scaloni and his possible replacements

Rodrigo De Paul spoke about the national team with TNT Sports and stated that he's had some backlash from Scaloni because of his way of playing and the way he talks with the referees all the time. ‘After the matches he gives Otamendi, Paredes and me a bit of a hard time because of how we  have to watch out for yellow cards.' If De Paul is not on the final list, names like Gio Lo Celso, Marcos Acuña or the same Leandro Paredes to fill his spot.
