Bayern Munich sold Robert Lewandowski this summer to FC Barcelona and the football world wondered how they would recover from losing the Polish sharpshooter but thanks to an unlikely hero, FC Hollywood continues to maintain its very high standards. Eric Chupo-Moting played for PSG from 2018 to 2020 where he scored six goals in 31 matches and was on the fringes of the Bayern squad before he morphed into Bayern's new star striker.

Chupo-Moting's five goals so far this season already eclipses his previous output for Die Roten, he's scored three in the league providing two assists and added another two goals in the Champions League. He even scored one of those CL goals against FC Barcelona in Bayern's 3-0 demolition of their hosts with the record-breaking Lewandowski on the pitch.

New lease on life

While tabloids would have been asking, 'who?' when Chupo-Moting moved to Bayern, now most of the speculation surrounds if he'll stay with Germany's most successful club. So Far this season Chupo-Moting's played 283 minutes, 5 goals and 2 assists a rate of a goal/assist every 40 minutes and now fans and experts alike are clamoring for his contract to be renewed before it expires in Sumer 2023.
