He was a star in America and stole a title from Chivas, now he loses his life

Club América is in mourning due to the loss of one of its players who made a mark on the club. The former soccer player is remembered for having snatched a title from Chivas in the 1953-54 season. Other of his achievements would be in the Mexican team where he played in the 1962 World Cup in Chile. He now sadly passed away at the age of 90.

América and Chivas became staunch rivals from the beginning and this caused it to become the National Classic.
