Lionel Messi's arrival in the United States has been one of the best signings in history, at least in terms of impact and marketing, because all the celebrities are looking at Inter Miami, thanks to Lionel. Now, unfortunately, an important businessman was traveling to Florida to be able to do watch him, and died in mid-flight.

This is Constancio Vigil, one of the founders of Telefe and Radio Continental, and former director of the magazine El Gráfico. At 86, he had boarded an American Airlines flight to Miami with his driver. Everything seemed to be normal, but when the plane landed, the crew tried to wake up the businessman and he did not respond. Immediately afterwards, he was immediately transferred to the Jackson Memorial in Miami by the airport medical staff. Finally, in that establishment it was reported that he had lost his life.

According to some sources, Vigil had not only flown to the United States to watch an Inter Miami match, but he was also planning to meet Jorge Messi. In the next few hours, his wife -Liliana Pata- and Víctor González (one of his partners) will arrive in Florida to bring his remains to Argentina.

Constancio Vigil's life was still linked to sport

As his son recounted, the businessman was active at 86 years old practicing one of his passions daily: golf. It should be remembered that Constancio was a member of the Board of Directors of the Buenos Aires Golf Club and until recently he still participated in tournaments of that sport.
