FC Barcelona totally hates the international break. Within the first week of it, they lost as many as 5 players due to injuries and although some of them are less serious than others, they all have their share of contribution to the team and leave it without their part. 

Xavi Hernandez has a complicated calendar ahead. It's not La Liga that worries Barça as much as Champions League and ‘El Clásico’ that will be coming in October 10. It's just three weeks before Barcelona's biggest test since the start of the season and Xavi's squad is clearly in trouble.

Perhaps Barcelona's biggest loss might be on their defense. It's precisely one of their defenders who seems to be the most affected by their injury. Ronald Araujo, the Uruguayan defender will be surgically intervened in Finland by a trusted doctor who's operated on Dembélé and Sergi Roberto in past occasions. 

Ronald Araujo will undergo surgery this coming Thursday as he's got a right leg adductor longus tendon rupture in his match against Iran playing with the Uruguay national team. The 23 year old defender will have to recover from the injury with extreme speed if he wants to go to Qatar.

Ronald Araujo will have an estimated recovery time of 3 months, which will mathematically take him out of the World Cup. However, this recovery would probably allow him to play the rest of the season with FC Barcelona. He will miss ‘El Clásico’ and the Champions League match against Inter Milan, so his replacements will have to be either Eric García, Gerard Piqué or Sergi Roberto converted to a center back.
