Football has been renewed over the years, and has necessarily adapted to the current nature of society. Before, the soccer player was limited to playing soccer, now, they are a brand and they must take care of it and invest their money. Nowadays it is common to see how soccer players have businesses outside of sports, as is the case of Lionel Andres Messi who, despite winning 50 million in Miami, has announced a new business.

Now, Lionel Messi has revealed on his official social networks a little about his new project and his new agreement with one of the strongest travel brands in the United States.

Lionel Messi teamed up with Royal Caribean to be the face of that brand's new cruise. “My family is everything to me, and Miami has become our home. And now, I am delighted to have been named the “Icon” of #IconoftheSeas by @royalcaribbean and to be able to welcome you to Miami, to the best family vacation of all time,” were the words Leo wrote, accompanied by the official flyer.

Royal Caribbean Chairman and CEO Michael Bayley said: "It is that ability to make such a broad impact and change the status quo that the Iconic Icon must embody, and Lionel Messi has proven to be the perfect example of that over the years. in the world of sports and, more recently, by introducing a new era of excitement and passion for soccer in Miami and the United States." It is also worth mentioning that Royal Caribbean will be the main sponsor of the Inter Miami shirt in 2024.
