The closing of the transfer window has brought both joys and sorrows to fans of various teams. Nonetheless, one thing is certain, and that is that many signings have generated a lot of discussion.

However, arguably the most anticipated signing of the year was Kylian Mbappe's future move to Real Madrid. It's worth noting that PSG excluded the Frenchman from the team's preseason in Japan due to his refusal to renew his contract, which expires next year. Nevertheless, it now appears that there has been a reconciliation as Kylian has been included in recent matches and has delivered on the field.

According to SPORT, there was never a formal offer from Real Madrid for Mbappe, making his move to the Spanish capital seem highly unlikely. Another case of rebellion during the transfer window was Joao Felix, who returned from his loan with Chelsea and was practically out of Cholo Simeone's plans.

Even Felix himself told Fabrizio Romano that he wanted to leave Atletico Madrid, a statement confirmed by the club's president. The problem was that there were no teams interested in the player who had arrived in Madrid for $135 million in 2019. Fortunately for the forward, Barcelona had an opening due to Ansu Fati's loan to Brighton, prompting Joan Laporta's club to sign Felix on loan.

What would be his salary?

As for his salary, according to the Spanish outlet COPE, Joao Félix will earn $430,000 in this season with Barcelona. The report suggests that the club's financial struggles, combined with financial fair play regulations, made it impossible for Barcelona to offer more, including a permanent transfer. SPORT also reports that money was not an issue in Felix accepting a loan move to Barca. Otherwise, he would have considered offers from Saudi Arabian clubs.
