He belittled Messi and now karma comes for Lewandowski in the Nations League

Robert Lewandowski is one of Europe's top strikers and has had a good time adapting to Xavi's play style at FC Barcelona. His numbers are good after a rough first game against Rayo Vallecano where he didn't have much participation. 

In eight games with FC Barcelona, he's scored 11 goals and is La Liga's top scorer above Benzema. Lewa's good stats with FC Barcelona had been expected and he seems to be the much needed replacement that the team looked for after Lionel Messi's departure to Paris.

However, Robert Lewandowski has been irrelevant with his national team playing in the Nations League and he's proven to be weak in mentality when it comes to important matches. His game against Netherlands was a match to forget, as was his match against his former team, Bayern Munchen. 

Lewa's role in any team is crucial, but he's proven to be a player that needs the team to work for him. Whenever he's not in the presence of a team that can assist him effectively, he's not capable of doing all the work by himself to get the goals he wants.
