"To this day I think that Bernardo Silva will continue with us, but as I have always said, since my time at Barça, I don't want players who don't want to be. But today I think he will continue", Guardiola revealed in the framework of the presentation of the friendly game between Barcelona and Manchester City.

In addition to the City coach, this presentation was attended by Joan Laporta, president of the Blaugrana team, who assured that they will seek to put together the best team for next season, in addition to Silva.

"Work is being done to make a competitive team next season. Today it is not appropriate to talk about players, apart from making a joke about a player who has left," he said.

His agent wants him there

His agent, Jorge Mendes, put his name on the table at the last meeting he held with Joan Laporta in Barcelona. Of course, as we say, his arrival at the Camp Nou is totally conditioned to the departure of De Jong from the Catalan capital. Barça has in its favor the complicity of Mendes and the footballer's desire to play for Blaugrana. Something fundamental to try to leave since he still has a contract until 2025 with Manchester City and a market value of around 80 million euros.
