Christophe Galtier still wants to improve Paris Saint Germain's defense. It seems that with his three-defender system they need the most men available and, with Kimpembe's injury (that could leave him out for six weeks) this system proves it can be dangerous amid a four-competition season. It's even more threatening with the World Cup hosted at the half of the season (rather than being celebrated on the summer break).

Of course, the French manager has already put his eye on a key player that can solve this problem and be part of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi's project: Milan Škriniar. The Slovak defender is a key part of Simone Inzaghi's team. Why he is a perfect match? He is already just to the three-defender system Galtier uses at PSG.

His contract expires next summer and he could come free the next season, nevertheless, Inter Milan has already offered an extension that doubles his salary. He could earn six million euros per year if he agrees to stay in Italy for at least another three years according to the Italian press. The question is if this decision would the adequate for his career. To win trophies in France or compete in the best defending league.

How much could he earn at PSG?

His current wages are up to five million Euros per season. It's almost nothing compared to Marquinhos' salary (he earns almost 14 million Euros per season). It's also a small fee compared to what other defenders charge at PSG. For example, Kimpembe wins almost 10 million per season. If he ever did come to PSG he could be a key part of the team and also charge very little compared to his soon-to-be teammates.
