The match went viral before it started, as Erling Braut Haaland's absence was confirmed due to a groin injury. Since then, it was known that Julian Alvarez was going to start, since the Argentine is the substitute for the Norwegian striker. This was a very tough test for the Argentinian.
The first half began with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool winning, with a great goal from Mohamed Salah. Just ten minutes later, Manchester City equalized with a great goal from Julian Alvarez and a fantastic pass from Jack Grealish. Haaland's reaction went viral on social media.
