Erik ten Hag doesn't care about Ronaldo and he could leave anytime soon

Cristiano Ronaldo has been told by Manchester United that he can leave the club in January, according to reports. The Portuguese star has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford for some time and it now appears his time at the club is coming to an end.

The Portuguese legend is widely considered to be one of the greatest footballers of all time, and he just recently moved back to Manchester United for a second spell at the English club. Although last season was a boomer for the Red Devils, Cristiano Ronaldo proved he is still one of the best players in the world.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals and assisted three times last season. But that didn't help Manchester United, and they only get to qualify for the Europa League, and ever since then, the Portuguese was keen on leaving the club for a Champions League contender. 

Since the last summer, everyone was expecting Manchester United to transfer Ronaldo, at least on loan, to a Champions League team. But in the end, he stayed. But the Red Devils' new manager doesn't trust him to be part of the lineup and the striker hasn't taken this in a good way.
