Jude Bellingham has demonstrated since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid for a 103 million euro deal (106.9 mdlls) that he is the striker Blanco’s need after the terrible disappointment Eden Hazard was last year.

Nevertheless, many detractors of the English striker criticized his performance on the pitch, saying that he’s only there to tap-in the ball when his teammates carried the game till the enemies goal.

But recently, in the EA 42 event via FiveUK transmission, where Arsenal legend Ian Wright was invited, he stood up for his fellow compatriot, Jude Bellingham, on all the criticisms he has received since his arrival to Real Madrid., as many say he is a “nitpicker”, or more commonly known as a tap-in player, meaning he is only there to kick the ball when his teammates have done all the work.

Other day I saw some people make compilations & be like ‘All Jude scores is tap-ins’, what they don’t understand is that to go 20 yards in elite football & find space in the box, top defenders trying to stop you, yet he’s putting pressure, scoring with an unbelievable movement on regular basis”, said Arsenal football legend, Ian Wright.

Who is Ian Wright?

Ian Wright is one of Arsenal’s legends that actually doesn’t need an introduction, but if you don't know who he is, we will do the homework for you. Ian Wright, born in London, United Kingdom in 1963, made his professional debut when he was only 21 years old with the Crystal Palace club where he stood for seven years, developing his career, but in 1992, was bought by Arsenal.

Ian Wright saw his better days during the seven years he played in Arsenal, he won the Premier League in the 1997/1998 season; won two FA Cups in 1993 and 1998 and the Europe Cup in 1994.

Ian Wright currently has the second best goal record in Arsenal club history with 185 points made in the 225 games he played in Highbury. Nevertheless, throughout all his career he scored 313 goals in 526 official matchups. He also played for the English National Team, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, Astana, and end up his professional career in Burnley FC in the 2000 year.
