The year is about to come to an end, but Lionel Messi will continue to fill the display cases of his museum with individual recognitions. All eyes will be on the 2023 Ballon d'Or award ceremony, which will have him as the main protagonist on Monday, October 30 in Paris, but the reality is that the '10' will win other trophies before toasting to receive 2024.

In the last few hours, it was confirmed that the captain of the Argentine National Team was nominated for an award in the MLS and, although the winner is still to be announced, there is no possibility that Leo will not be the one who wins it. Messi is nominated for the best signing of the year in Major League Soccer, a section in which he competes with Giorgos Giakoumakis (Atlanta United) and Eduard Löwen (Saint Louis City). Without taking away merit from these last two, the truth is that they are not even close to stepping on the heels of what the man from Rosario generated with his arrival in the United States.
