A day remains before the transfer window closes, and teams are still making additions to their squads for the current season. One of the players who seems to have decided to change clubs is the Mexican forward Hirving Lozano.
"Chucky" Lozano, as he's called in Mexico, will be returning to the club where he made his mark in European football. According to Fabrizio Romano, it's almost a done deal that the forward will make a comeback to PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie. After four years at Napoli, Lozano didn't live his best moments.
Now, everything indicates that Hirving is not in the plans of Spanish coach Rudi Garcia, making his departure imminent. Romano suggests that Johan Bakayoko needed to leave the Dutch team for Lozano's return to be possible. With recent information about Bakayoko's departure from the club, Lozano's transfer is practically a done deal.
According to TNT Sports, PSV offered $13 million to Napoli for the player's services. However, an exact fee hasn't been confirmed yet.
Hirving Lozano joined Napoli in 2019 and has since won 1 Serie A title, 1 Coppa Italia title, played 155 matches, and scored a total of 30 goals.
