Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus have certain problems

Cristiano Ronaldo is experiencing a tense moment with one of his former clubs in Europe. The Portuguese player decided a few weeks ago to proceed legally against Juventus Turin. The current Al Nassr footballer did not find a better remedy than to go to trial with the Italian team and the Gazzetta dello Sport already confirms that this has a date to take place. The big problem that arises is due to an issue of non-payments. Cristiano moved to Juventus Turin after three seasons and significantly positioned himself among the best in his league, winning two Serie A titles.

Ronaldo now wants to receive the part of the salary that he agreed to defer during the 2020 confinement and also the following year. It was the 'salary case' at Juve, which formally cut and substantially deferred part of its players' salaries in 2020 and 2021. Because of this move, Juventus risked another sanction in addition to the 10 points from last year, but reached an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office of the Italian Football Federation

The Portuguese attacker, now at Al-Nassr and top scorer in the Saudi Pro League in 2023, demands almost 20 million euros net from the 'bianconeri' that, according to him, the club promised when it agreed to defer salaries during that time. An agreement that the Juventus players reached once the competition in Italy was suspended, something that was considered a salary maneuver in March 2020.

When will the trial between Ronaldo and Juventus be?

Now, on October 4, Cristiano Ronaldo will claim what, according to him, he should have received in 2021 when the club, in financial difficulties, decided to renegotiate the conditions individually with each player. This is indicated by the Gazzetta dello Sport, which reveals that the relevant documents have been requested from the Turin Prosecutor's Office for the case. A favorable resolution is expected for Cristiano's interests, but we will have to wait and see how the entire case develops.
