Cristiano Ronaldo keeps failing as Lionel Messi takes another shot at his legacy
Argentinean star Lionel Messi scored in PSG's win over Lille on match day 3 of the French Ligue 1 and got closer to one of CR7’s records.
Lionel Messi completely changed his game at the start of the 2022-23 season. The 35-year-old superstar scored again in Paris Saint-Germain's win over Lille and has now scored three goals, leaving behind his previous campaign in which he only scored six goals in 26 matches.
To this he added the goal scored in the French Super Cup, a competition in which PSG was crowned champion with a 4-0 win over Nantes.

Messi has Ronaldo in his sights
The main objective is to catch up with Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not having a good time at Manchester United. The captain of the Portugal national team and five-time Ballon d'Or winner has 815 goals in his career, with clubs such as Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
