FC Barcelona is facing Celta Vigo for the sixth week of La Liga's tournament, but Barca can't seem to find the right path for victory as they are now lossing against Celta Vigo 1-0, with a great score made by the Norwegian Strand Larssen as he put the ball into the corner of the goal and assisted by de la Torre.
Barcelona haven't been able to make any harm on Celta Vigo goal in the first half. Barcelona is in third possition of the standings with 13 points and are just underneath Real Madrid (with 15 points) and Girona, who is currently leading the Spanish tournament with 16 points as they had an outstanding 5-2 win over Mallorca early in the morning.
Barcelona had a great record for clean sheet in its last 18 games of 21 as host in La Liga's last season (17 wins, three ties and one loss). Six more games than any other team of the top five clubs from Europes leagues (Manchester United made 12 games without any goal in 22 matchups as hosts).
Celta Vigo can also break a curse, as they have only won six games of 20 they had facing FC Barcelona in La Liga's tournament in the last 10 years, their current record is four ties and 10 losses. The only other Spanish club that has recorded more wins against the Blaugranas is Real Madrid with seven victories, three ties and 10 defeats.
Celta Vigo needs a win today against FC Barcelona to improve their number in the standings and scale to the seventh position of La Liga's standings and put themselves above Atletico Madrid and Osasuna, and also, displace Barcelona and break their undefeated record.
Nevertheless, Barcelona will have am easy scheduele ahead if they loss today vs Celta Vigo and will probably retake their winning streak as they will face Mallorca (who loss 5-2 vs Girona) on Tuesday 26th; Sevilla (who tied 0-0 vs Osasuna today) on Friday 29th; and Granada who is in the 18th position of the standings on October 8th.
